California Cities Annual Report of Financial Transactions

California cities submit annual reports of financial transactions to the State Controller. Each report contains asset, liability, fund balance, expenditure, revenue, and other financial information.

Some reports contain other city statistics, such as employment, the number of police officers, and special enterprise activity, such as ports and harbors, housing, cemeteries, golf courses, sports arenas, hospitals, water, sewer, and solid waste services.

For the most recent data, see California City Financial Transactions beginning in 2001.
