Gross State Product Statistics

U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP), California and other state Gross State Product (GSP) and their industry components, and per capita GSP and GDP are available in current dollars and "chained" (i.e., constant) dollars from 1977-1999. The source for these data is the Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Department of Commerce.

The GSP estimates of private industries for 1987 forward are presented on the basis of the 1987 Standard Industrial Classification code (SIC). Estimates for earlier years are presented on the basis of the 1972 SIC. NA indicates data not available or less than $500,000.

See also GSP data based on the NAICS coding system.
