New Construction by County (Archived Data, 1988-2004)

RAND California new construction contains new residential and non-residential statistics for all California counties. The number of units constructed and the valuation of permits by category are reported. Please see Construction Background for category definitions. The source of these data is the Construction Industry Research Board.

Please note that this database will not be updated beyond Dec. 2004 and has been replaced by U.S. construction data starting in 2001. See construction in U.S. Counties and MSAs, and in U.S. cities and places within counties.
